EXPANSION IN FLORIDA OPERATIONS TO INCLUDE A NEW FINE WINE DIVISION

December 2, 2019 Mexcor Distributors of Florida announces an expansion in its Florida operations to include a new Fine Wine Division, made through an APA closure by its family of companies and Wineco Corporation, a leading independent importer and distributor of fine wine in the South Florida region. Since 1989, Mexcor has grown to become the leading independent liquor distributor in Texas and a 4 million case-per year national importer with self-distribution operations in Texas, Florida, and California. Now, through its takeover of Wineco’s portfolio and operations, Mexcor continues to grow its commitment to add value to suppliers and customers with the highest quality brand selections.

The new Mexcor of Florida Fine Wine Division will open the door for Mexcor to expand its presence by entry into Grocery, Club stores, and On-Premise. The new division will continue to be managed by former CEO of Wineco Jorge Peraza in his new role as President of the new division. Wineco’s entire sales force has been retained to continue servicing existing customers seamlessly, and expand to include new customers effectively.
